Join us for a panel with Alexis Baden-Mayer, Political Director of Organic Consumers Association who will discuss regenerative agriculture and why its important. Joining her will be Erika Freund, Mobile Pantry Manager of West Side Campaign Against Hunger, and Sharon Kimmelman, who is a very experienced community gardener and teacher of gardening to children on the UWS. Susan Spieler who also speak about why CSAs are important.

Grassroots Alliance is a coalition of environmental groups focused on replacing the use of fossil fuels, especially fracked shale gas, with wind, water and solar power. Events range from screenings to panel discussions to rallies and art builds. Meetings are on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 pm, unless otherwise noted.
